Interior Environments

Design principal Alicia Marshall has a BA degree in Interior Design and worked for large corporate and bespoke residential practices early in her career. In 2009 she relocated to Brigt Victoria and followed her passion for Art and Design whilst opening her own Interior Design practice. Concentrating on corporate and community workplace design, the studio has garnered a reputation for reliable, creative, interesting work that prides itself on delivering positive, enlivening interiors where people feel energised and engaged within their workplace.

The projects focus on beautiful detail, interesting design ideas and challenging the norm in ways of working. Using skilled, expert trades and craftspeople and a sharp management style has been the key to project success and positive client/construction experiences.

We are currently undertaking four projects for Alpine Resorts Falls Creek, which will represent a new era in the organisation's view of workplace and facility design.

BRV Hub

Bushfire Recovery Hub's were a vital tool in supporting the Alpine Shire Community through very difficult times.

This new permanently staffed Hub space was used to assist all community members in accessing the information they needed, post bushfire events and during the pandemic. It was also used to support emergency services as a meeting and presentation space for team strategy and planning procedures.

Myrtleford Library

A new refurbishment to a 1960's registered building of Interest in the town of Myrtleford.  Salvaging the original modernist architecture and embellishing retro features was the design language. A functional Library that welcomed and supported the entire diverse community was the brief, whilst introducing 21st century technology as new tools to support a hardworking staff.

Alpine Shire Offices

The Alpine Shire wanted a brand-new interior within their existing 70's brick head quarters. Completed in 2016 and 2019 two major renovations to work zones were undertaken to house a new reception, private and open plan work styles, bookable meeting rooms and an intranet accessible from all desk or meeting spaces. Offices were removed, greenery and softer Alpine centric materials were used to create major change on a minor budget.

Mount Beauty Library

The Mount Beauty Library overlooks the beautiful Kiewa Valley in Victoria's North East. Our task was to collaborate with the appointed Architect to produce an interior design to compliment and support the staff and community. Using local trades and cabinet makers, a fresh and lively interior was created that is welcoming and fun for the young and the young at heart, for the elderly and for people who regularly use the library as a wonderful community resource. Now brought into the 21st century.
